Born in China and adopted at 10 months, I was brought to Massachusetts and raised in an Italian-American household. I was brought up in an unconventional Montessori school, which encouraged and fostered learning at our own pace. This contributed to a love of writing, and having this love for writing since I was very young, I have been pursuing a career in writing for years, which brought me to Emerson as a journalism major.

I intend to go into either political or food journalism, aiming to travel all over the world. Journalism can make a big impact on culture, progress, education, and providing truth and information, and I look forward to contributing my work to creating change in this country and beyond.
